Most mature shade trees do well with structural pruning every three to five years, while younger trees benefit from more frequent, lighter shaping to establish good structure early. We can trim branches that are approaching or lightly interfering with a power line's clearance, but work directly on or immediately around energized lines is typically handled by the utility company or a licensed line-clearance crew for safety reasons.
